OK, I had to spotlight this!! This is Dave singing "PLEASE". I had never heard the song before, and now I dont care if I EVER hear it by the orriginal artist because this version is AWESOME!!! Yall kick back and ENJOY!
No cooking lessons today........the end of the video got cut off, all I said was contact me, I'll walk you through, love yall, goodnight! (have to remember to keep it UNDER five minutes!!)
Ok, so I had my surgery on the 15th as scheduled. I lost the last two toes and the right side of my foot. I am a non-walking freak show in my opinion. The doctors say "all looks great", but they have no talk of therepy yet, or teaching me how to walk again. And so far... the right foot NEVER touches the floor... or I cry.
The biggest part I guess has been the pain and depression. Pain meds dont really work that well, but I am better now than I was two weeks ago, thats for sure. But I am confined practicaly to my bed. I have been getting up some the last few days and managing some time at the computer and I even sang a few the other day on singsnap. I try to get on the porch and sit on every warm day, but there has only been two of those in the last two weeks. Anyone who deals with depression knows lack of fresh air and sunshine seems to deepen things... sigh. But, I am past my crying stage, and thats a plus.
So I will share with you one of my latest creations on singsnap the other day when I was in a good mood!
Amy is home, resting and recovering from her surgery. She's a bit more upbeat, still dealing with the situation. She appreciates your show of love and prayers.
Amy went into surgery yesterday afternoon around 4:30 PM and was out of recovery into a room by 7:30. As far as I know there were no complications.
On her right foot.., they took her two outside toes off and a slice of her foot. What level of mobility she will have remains to be seen - but I believe she will need a cane to start with as she recovers. Anything else I might add at this point would be speculation so I'd rather wait for more details.., and who knows maybe Amy will update this page before I can! Which would be impressive.
She's experiencing a lot of pain as you can imagine and was so groggy she was possibly only aware of the pain and needing lots of water. So far Amy is expected to be out of the hospital by Thursday or Friday.
Your prayers and moral support are requested. Thank you for dropping by. More updates pending.
